Young Founders Market is a one-day outdoor community celebration where kids ages 6–16 sell their product or service, run their own brand, and trade with hundreds of neighbors, families, and friends at Roxboro-Rideau Park.

Parent questions

Who can register?

Any kid aged 6–16 living in or near Calgary. One booth per business — siblings or friends can team up.

What's included with the $50 fee?

A marked booth space at the park, a spot on the event map, judging for all three awards, and promotion across our channels. Note: tables and chairs are not provided — please bring your own setup (folding table, chairs, tablecloth, signage).

When does registration close?

Registration closes May 31, 2026 — or sooner if all 40 booths fill up. Spots are first-come, first-served.

What can kids sell?

Almost anything they make or design — baked goods, crafts, art, jewelry, slime, plants, services. We'll review during registration.

What happens if it rains?

We're a rain-or-shine celebration. Booths get a small canopy area and we'll send weather updates the week of.
